Off to Edinburgh for the Artists’ BookMarket at The Fruitmarket Art Gallery. This is the first time I have had a stall in Scotland. I have spoken about Seeing Poetry at Glasgow’s Laydeez do Comics in 2014.
I will be showing the usual books You and You’d Start with the Page which illustrate single poems by Clare Shaw as comics. I will also have Sunnyside, Recipe for Snow, Blue Morning and Instructions on how to be tall which each illustrate one of my own poems as a comic. I will also be debuting a new zine Sonnet 61 by William Shakespeare which was illustrated as part of a workshop by Ilya.
