I attended the first Applied Comics Network conference in London. It was great to meet up with like minded people and see the huge diversity of comics that we produce. I went with four ‘hats’ on: using comics to illustrate poetry (Seeing Poetry), documenting (MaH), for educational comics and graphic memoir (LDC).
It was great to do a (very) quick comics exercise, each producing a comic from the same random Wikipedia page. My attempt at comic that can be read in either direction.
